Happy Sunday , everyone.
Today is not just any day.
Today, we honour the ones who are often overlooked…
Not because they don’t matter but because they rarely ask to be seen.
Today is Father’s Day.
And though there are many holidays in the world, only one day is set aside to celebrate fathers.
One day… for the men who carry years of pressure, silence, and sacrifice.
Fathers, we see you.
You wake up early, sleep late, work hard, and give even when nothing is left.
You walk into the rain so your children can have shelter.
You go hungry so your family can eat.
You wear the same shoes for months so your child can wear something new.
You are taught to be strong.
Which sometimes means you’re not allowed to cry,
Not allowed to be tired,
Not allowed to say, “I’m scared, too.”
You bottle it all up, because you were told: “Be a man.”
And so, you carry it.
In your back.
In your chest.
In your bones.
Some of you have walked through rejection, poverty, job loss, betrayal…
Yet you still show up, with a smile on your face and hope in your heart.
And still… you are expected to provide, protect, lead, pray, guide, plan, and stay calm all without breaking down.
No applause.
No medals.
Just expectations.
But today, just for a moment, allow us to do what the world doesn’t do enough…

😭 We thank you.
💙 We love you.
You are not just a provider, you are a pillar.
You are not just a protector, you are the foundation.
You are not just Dad, you are a Hero.
To every father at Heroes and beyond…
We know it hasn’t been easy.
Maybe no one told you this before, but:
You are doing better than you think.
You are loved more than you know.
And you are not alone.
And so today, we pray for you:
“The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
May your children rise and call you blessed.
May your labour not be in vain.
May your home be filled with laughter.
And may your soul finally find rest.
